This will be our 4th annual Thanksgiving Dinner. This Dinner is provided to all Humboldt park homeless and Needy free of charge, they bring their families to a hot complete dinner with Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravey, Veggies, Hot Rolls, Cranberry sauce Coffee, Juice and Pumpkin and Minced pies and then we give them a Love Basket with all they need to make their own dinner and those on the streets we provide a basket with ready make boxed foods and Coats, Gloves, Socks and Blankets. We provide this event to aprox. 350 families MOST WITH SMALL CHILDREN!! We have soliciated donations from local Grocery Chains and the food depository and we have not had positive response as in years pass all with the same catch pharse "Due the Our Nations Ecomony we are unable to provide the donations as we did last year" So we are asking the Help of the Community of Greater Chicago to help make this VERY NEEDED OUTREACH for these families a huge Success. When we look at the huge blessings we have and food on our tables we must remember those that are not as fortuate and extend the blessing we have to others!! If anyone has a Heart and Love for Families in need ESPECALLY with Small Children that are in need of a Warm place to have a Good Thanksgiving meal which otherwise they would not have we are looking for anykind of donations of Food Items, Canned goods, Frozen Turkeys, Boxes of Stuffing, Preboxed foods, Boxed Mashed Potatoes, Apples, Oranges, Juices, Children's coats and adults (used but in good condition is excellent)bags of socks, gloves, scull caps and blankets and items that can go in the Love Baskets for these Needy familys Please Email me and I will give all the details and can make arrangements to Pick up any and all Items donated for this most worthy Cause YOU WILL HELP TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THESE FAMILIES LIVES!!!
